A Sad Farewell...

The time finally came for Juan to leave... I am hanging in there. Trying to keep myself busy and keep my mind off how much this next 7-13 months are going to suck... I have turned into a leaky faucet. Never know when something will set me off... I feel like I am a combination of a pregnant women PMS and a 14 year old girl.... Emotions running wild. I am pretty good at keeping my emotions at bay but its nights that always get me... When things are quiet and I have too much time to think about stuff... I miss him... I worry for him... and I love him. My heart literally hurts. Its a feeling I can't explain. Its a constant feeling of loss yet worry but still hopeful and proud. To be honest its a horrible combination... I hope you guys keep him in your thoughts as well as everyone else over there....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUAN!!!!!

Juan is now 24! I am starting to feel old... We are "almost 30" aaahhhhh so weird to think about. I guess Juan has seen more than most grown men but still I think of us as kids! His birthday actually turned out wonderfully despite our lack of planning because Juan just got Recalled...

We went to Javiers in Newport Beach. Pretty much my all time favorite restaurant. It used to be in Laguna then they moved it to Newport... Now its full of cougars !!

It actually is a super cool restaurant and sssoooo delish!!! MMMMmmmmm mmmm We went with another couple we hang out with all the time. It was so fun!


Juan got super drunk and was making us all laugh because he turns into a sap when he drinks. It was sort of semi-sweet we were all sad since Juan was getting sent to 29 Palms (near palm springs) until November when he gets deployed to Afghanistan for 1 year. We ended up making the best out of the night.

OHHH and the best part... There is only Spanish waiters at javiers. No waitresses. When it's your birthday they sing and give you flan. The catch... they feed it to you. Juan was drunk so took part of this. We were laughing so hard. If he was sober I think he wouldn't have been such a good sport.









To say the least we all had a blast. This is one day I wont forget. Knowing I wont be seeing Juan everyday like I am used to makes me appreciate the time we have together. Now I just have to figure out what the heck I am going to do for a year when Juan is gone... UGH... It makes me sick inside!

So... If you have read my blog long enough you would know that I love things that are not your everyday "cute" I like things with character! Well my dream dog is either a French Bulldog or a Boston Terrier.... Oh boy oh BOY!!! Well Good ol Shwan (Juan my boyfriend) made my DREAMS come true!!!! He bought me the most precious pupper! He is sssssssooooo cute and I love him!! I seriously am turning into one of those crazy mothers who thinks their kids do NO wrong when in reality they are the first ones to be the biggest assholes known to man.... He is perfect! minus the fact that he farts, snores, and has peed on the floor 4 times.... I can deal with it... I'm dating Juan aren't I? Minus the peeing on the floor.... That would just be.... bizarre... Though I have seen an episode on Jerry Springer...

Isn't he a handsome devil??? Those goldfish eyes sent me over the edge! I love him! The best part is hes really a great dog. He loves to play but loves loves loves to snuggle!! If you sit down he is curled up in your lap snoozin! He gives kisses and loves to stand right behind you so you almost step on him!

So to say the least I am crazy in love! I don't even want to know how crazy I am going to be when I have my own kids...

So yeah.... I hope this blog doesn't turn into " I don't craft because I am a crazy Boston momma... I love my Boston so much I take pictures of its poo because even thats cute..." Come on. You know those people are out there!


I do have quite a few new post lined up. I was crafting before Jesus sent Gus in my life. hahahahaahahahahahahahahaha! Hes an Angel a freakin' angel! Okay so I hope you guys know I am half kidding... Honey, I'm HOME!!!
So for all of you that don't know I was in Washington D.C. area for 1 week.... It was AMAZING... I love it and wanted to move there, until I woke up this morning and it was 70 degrees without a cloud in the sky... California really is good to me! Besides that I love D.C. I think I could have stayed another week and still not seen all the beautiful things! I did a few memorable things that I will never forget in my life!!! (I will give them there own "post") I had such a wonderful time. I went to meet up with Juan and see his family. My Aunt recently moved there too so I got to spend a few days over there! Juan's abuelos (grandparents) were in from Ecuador. Its funny how the language barrier didn't seem to affect some ones personality. Juan's grandpa is hilarious... I have NO CLUE what he's saying but he's the cutest little man ever!



He still spoke to me in Spanish as if a miracle happened and I understood Spanish five minutes after I just gave him a blank look and a big cheesy grin... I would just smile and look at Juan for assistance..." CAN I GET A TRANSLATION PLEASE OR A FUCKING ROSETTA STONE!!!" I need Rosetta stone... badly... I would like to say its because I want to make myself more worldly and smart but reality is... Juans family only gossips in Spanish... and they watch a super SUPER good novella called " Las Tontas No Van Al Cielo" :) hahahaha

I wish we had the Metro in Laguna Beach. Its so easy and practical! I loved it!! We zoomed all around the city. I made this girl take a picture of Juan and I... Juan was so embarrassed I asked her, but who cares... It turned out to be my favorite picture of us so far.



Here I am across the street from the spy museum... SO LAME... Everyone told us how cool it was... Um... It sucked... My favorite part was the metal capsules they shoved up their ass full of tools and poison. All for the good ol' US of A


OH yeah.... In case you were wondering.... It was cold as SHIT... And since God apparently hates me he chose to make the two coldest days be the 2 days I was walking around DC.... Thank you Jesus. Also I want to thank Juan for telling me its not very cold... Well it was 10 degrees with massive wind storms (note hair below)

Also if you look at my Flickr you will notice most of the pictures taken of me, the monuments are cut out of them... Juan is a great photographer and thinks I strategically stand in front of monuments / sites of interest just so he can get my close up... NO BITCH... Get the Background too!!!



At least Juan was miserable with me... hehehe.... (NOTE: Hes freezing his little huevos off but...FULL MONUMENT IN PICTURE)

I should already be sleeping.... its almost 1 am... but I am such a night owl... I have an interview tomorrow at 8!!! Yes Brook is attempting to join the human race....

mmmmmm yeah... I am about to kick my boyfriend really hard... I wish it was for a good reason but its not... Its because he SUCKS ASS at video games!!!! He just got Call Of Duty 5 and he's playing it on hard ( baby steps honey... baby steps....) So for the past 2 hours I have heard the game start and restart about every 2 minutes because he keeps on getting killed.... It is really annoying... and then he's cussing and yelling " I don't know what else I can do! There is absolutely nothing I can do!!!" (BITCH I do... play it on easy!!!!)

Other then that I made some feather hair facinators!!! They are so cute!! I'll post them soon!!! Mr.Positive (Juan) said " I've never seen anyone wear those in the real world..." WHATEVE!!!! (actually I haven't seen anyone wear them either other then TV... But not everyone wears bright red lipstick everyday like me either) SO yeah... POOP ON JUAN!! Especially since he wears stripes with plaid and gets mad when I wont leave the house with him!

I have a list of work in progress... Here is a peek... The project is from Martha Stewarts "Holiday" mag. My Uncle and Aunt own walnut groves/orchard/crop whatevver the heck its called... So when I saw these... I knew I had to make them!! I am making 2 for them! They are really beautiful!!! Well at least I think. Plus my Uncle is like Kris Kringle himself... he decorates his WHOLE house!! I am going to take picture this year and show you peeps... Its amazing...

New things....

So I am really boring today.... But I need to post... Since last night I was drunk twittering... It was funny! I haven't been drunk in a long time... I got a text from Amy (P.S. Amy its been 6 days since you posted... I think your "blogger award" should be stripped from you!) and all she wrote to me was " Hung Over?" How the hell did she know? Well apparently... instead of calling people I was drunk twittering... :) Then I look at my AIM on my phone and at 2:42 AM I message my little cousin " KID I LOVE YOU!!! Why doesn't your phone work... go find it" HAHAHHAAHAH wow... So yeah... Good times!

So other then that I am making my birthday list because my birthday is DECEMBER 1ST!!!! I am going to be 23!!! I HAVE TO HAVE THESE.... How freaking cute? Measuring cups!

So anyways.... I have been working on my custom orders on My Etsy I have so many ideas for christmas but I know I wont finish 5% of them.... I thought I started so early.... guess not early enough!

hhhmmm.... Other then that.... Today was so AMAZING... It was the most beautiful day EVER it was 80 degrees! Juan and I walked down to the beach and then ate at Wahoos.... mmmmm.... Where the heck is Winter? Its not in Southern California that is for sure! SO yeah... Juan is leaving for Maryland next week to visit his familia ! I am going to decorate his apartment all Christmassy so when he gets home it will be a winter wonderland!!! I know.... I am such a wonderful girlfriend.... you don't have to tell me... :)

Juan just called me over and asked me to write his 4 page paper... There is a reason I went to beauty school... I missed my calling... I can write MEAN papers... I should charge!!! A friend I had in high school used to give me sssoo much shit for not being able to spell... Like literally made me feel like an idiot... but when it came to papers.... I rocked the house... I always got A's and she always got C's.... SO HA!!! computers can spell... it takes a brain to write a good paper! (especially if you never read the book!!!) but yeah... I am not writing the paper for Juan... I am a good girlfriend but not that good...

Post Patchwork Show and The People I Met!

So today was The Patchwork show. It was tons of fun!!! I got to meet some of my Internet craft friends!!! I met The Craft Pig and her lovely dog who was quite afraid of me!!! I also met a few other people and it was funny because Mother Love was making fun of me saying I was a cyber nerd with all these Internet friends! HAHAHAHA!! OH WELL!!!

Something I was really shocked about the owner of Harveys Seat belt bags KNEW ME FROM CRAFTSTER! hahah how funny huh? I felt special for 5 minutes! Since I love her bags!! I have a few in my collection! Boy have they changed! Now they are all fancy with pockets for every little thing! They last FOREVER too... because they are made from REAL seat belts! I should have asked her for a job! hahahahaha!!! It seems like it would be super fun!


So other then that... I saw a few products I didn't expect!!! I blog I just recently started readingStelabird from Oklahoma. Her shit was there!! At first I walk by and I see Her felt birdie and all I could think was " NO WAY!!! SOMEONE TOTALLY JACKED HER!!!" Then I read the tag and it was hers! A lady with an online boutique had a booth and was selling crafts from many different artist! I am glad I didn't have to report her to the copy cat police!

SO the Moustache Ornaments were a hit!! They were so silly all on the tree! So funny! People literally were cracking up! It was a good show... "Mother Love" and I had a great time! If you can't tell!

The first is Liliani... The dog... This lady came to my booth and was singing my praises... what a sweet lady... but her dog was just toooooo much it was a Papillon Chihuahua mix... Mother love thought it was the cutest thing ever and she was like " Oh my gosh I just want to snuggle it!" So the lady passed her on over!! HAHAHAHA The lady was really sweet... So I thought I would photograph that fact that Sabrina asked to hold another persons dog... Since 10 minutes before she was tempted to ask a lady to hold her 4 week old baby!!!

So my favorite thing I got is this reusable shopping bag from Harveys... it was only $10 and I totally am in love with it! Its a plus size bag! I could sit in it if I wanted to! And the best part... it looks like one of those cheesey Chinese market bags... AND it has Seat belt handles!!! I am IN LOVE!!! Now all my embroidery stuff has a new HOME!!!



I am totally lovin' the new coat my lovely boyfriend bought me! Not really loving the fact that I look drunk... but those peach sangrias they were serving were DE-LISH!

You Know You Are A Little Crazy When....

You compare suffocation quality of pillows on your boyfriend... No this isn't some sort of kinky S&M thing we are into... It was just an everyday conversation people have with me... Juan and I were talking after dinner and some how Juan said " I've never understood how people can suffocate someone by using pillows.." I respond of course by saying " Hhhmmm I've never thought about it... LET ME TRY!!!" He laughs... and AGREES!!! GEE GOLY! How I love him!! He sometimes enjoys playing along with my crazy games...

So first attempt was a super puffy down pillow... No such luck... He was breathing right through those gooses butt feathers... DAMN... My next idea... " Lets try the polyester fill pillows... Synthetic as we know it doesn't breathe very well..." He laughs and allows me to cover his face with the pillow and then push my hands on his face as I repeatedly ask him " Can you breathe? Can you breathe now? How about if I push down really hard? Now?" Each time he is giving me the thumbs up meaning he can breathe... I remove the pillow and my boyfriends nose is squashed down but that's about all... But he did say the polyester has much better suffocating potential than a down pillow... hahahaha then I was like " Okay try it on me.... actually never mind..." I am pretty sure him being 100 times stronger then me would really affect this "TEST" we did... Besides in my ripe old age of 22 I am really becoming claustrophobic... We both had a good laugh about our little experiment...

So while I was looking for pictures to post on this post I came across these... Boy, what would we do without the Japanese? I just love them.... The first pillow is a "Lap Pillow" and the second is a " Lonely Pillow" if that isn't the most pathetic thing I have ever seen I don't know what is... Would you ever use these?

Things that made me laugh today....

First off... My boyfriend and I have I phones (lucky us) so pretty much my boyfriend watches youTube videos all the time since he doesn't want to get his T.V. from his friends house... I know... I know... ANYWAYS... today we watched some "re-runs" . oldies but goodies that always make me laugh....

Then I started cracking up!!! what a brat!!!! He's such a PAIN!!!

but on that note look at what he emailed me today. His sister and Dad just went to Ecuador and she copied this photo of him when he was little!!! I've never seen a young picture of him, the only picture I've seen is his passport but he was at least 12 or 13. hahahahaha He was a PIMP!!! He looks like he should be making Cement Shoes for the Ecuadorian mob!!

Juan apparently doesn't know who the other "ninos" are... except for his sis below him wearing a polygomist dress... He Does Love MMMEEEE !!!!

YAY! So for all of you that have read my "graphic" post from the other day you will see that my boyfriend REALLY DIDN'T WANT TO GO TO DISNEYLAND! But of course I didn't yell or throw a fit ( yes I act like I'm 2) Instead I just let it go.... I mean really how fun would it have been if I dragged him to Disneyland just so he would be grumpy and no fun to be around!? So I guess he thought since I wasn't begging and being an annoying brat he thought I was pouting about not going to Disneyland so about 45 minutes later he was like " UGH FINE LETS GO TO FUCKING DISNEYLAND SO YOU DON'T POUT ABOUT IT ALL NIGHT" (um did he just say "fuck" and "Disneyland" in the same sentence? he really is a man after my own heart!!!)




So it started out at California Adventures so we could go on "Soarin Over California". Well of course I am next to the super drunk 40 something couple taking pictures of the screen (um hello.... NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY... don't make me say it in spanish... because I can! ) While Juan is sitting next to spawn of satan kids screaming out EVERY object they see on the screen and then throwing up devil horns on their hands.... I am trying to enjoy myself why peeping at Juan to make sure he doesn't decapitate spawn 1 and spawn 2... we "land" ,wow that was fun!!! so we walk off the ride.... UGH it smells like SSSSSHHHHHIIIITTT..... like straight up CA-CA !!! well a little boy decided to shit himself... cool... keep walking... random guy with his friends is smelling the bottom of his sandal..... (giggle with a HUGE smile on my face) We pass him and I hear this

" aaahhh is it shit or puke? SHIT OR PUKE?"
"SHIT"
"aaahhh someone shit on the floor in line or what?"
If he only knew he just made my day....

So needless to say it was wonderful. We had such a great time. My photos all sucked since I was walking and snapping photos, since taking photos + being at Disneyland might have sent Juan into cardiac arrest ( I can only push so many buttons at once... ya know?) but we really both had a great time. Juan even said he had a lot of fun ! then I asked him if he wanted to go tomorrow :) hahah then he changed his mind about his fun factor... sometimes I don't know when to shut my mouth...




So anyways.... We watched the firework show... Its more of a firework/fire/light/music show !!! then we went and watched Fantasmic which Juan really liked. Its really cool they have a huge "water spray" that they project movie clips on... its hard to explain but its cool... and yeah... they also light the water all on fire.... Then we ran on Pirates of the Caribbean before the park closed! It turned out beautifully! So I decided since the park was closing I could get a cute pic of the two of us at DISNEYLAND... and this is what I get....
